One of the Regional Council of Infrastructure and Transport’s main social interest objectives is that all their web portals may be accessed by all citizens.
A web portal’s accessibility guarantees access to the information and services contained in its pages without restrictions or limitations due to incapacity reasons of any kind or technical conditions, bearing in mind that many people who access the information included in our pages do so using different devices and in different environments.
In order to assist and facilitate access to information, web pages must fulfil a series of guidelines and recommendations indicated by the working group WAI (Web Accesibility Initiative), who form part of the consortium W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).
Such guidelines make up the standard of the accessibility to the web pages, which varies between level 1 (A), level 2 (AA) and level 3 (AAA).

This web portal has been developed to satisfy all verification points of priority 1, currently achieving level A in all of its pages.
Only the content of some specific sections, due to the type of content, faces problems with regard to passing levels 2 and 3. Work is currently being carried out on these sections.
Visual design
The visual layout of this web site has been tested in different versions of the main browsers and on different platforms. This portal is optimised for versions of MS Internet Explorer 6.x and Mozilla Firefox 2.0 browsers and their later versions.
The Line 2 of the Metrovalencia underground portal is optimised for a screen resolution of 32 bits and 800x600 pixels, although it can be viewed perfectly on a screen with a resolution of 1024x768 pixels.
